Our Story
Allyness Ltd was founded by Rango — a combat veteran with a simple idea and absolutely zero patience for bullshit. Built from the ground up with the input of fellow veterans, Allyness started as a mission to do what the British Army's Soldier Magazine never could: produce content that actual soldiers give a damn about.
No party-line propaganda. No sanitised spin. Just real, Ally content — for people who've been there.
Our Mission
The mission is straightforward: find and share everything that is Ally. If you're stateside, think cool as f**k — same thing, different accent.
We scour the globe for examples of battlefield cool, warrior culture, and the kind of content that makes you nod and say "yeah, that's Ally." If it meets the standard, we publish it. If you're easily offended, this probably isn't your ground.
Our ethos: if it's Ally, it's in. If it's not, crack on elsewhere.
Our Community
Veterans miss the whip-crack of operational life — the banter, the belonging, the sense of purpose. Allyness exists to fill that gap. We've established a permanent brew bar at our first FOB (Forward Operating Base) in Fobbing, Essex — a place for combat vets and sound people to hang out, train, drink brews, and spin dits.
The FOB is currently invite-only while we get the ground set, but watch this space. It's only going to get bigger.
